Nameless Ryukin Grows
Click here for larger image. I only have three fish in my 55 gallon aquarium. Except for Barri, they are nameless. The reason is simple, I do not want to get attached to them. I’ve had so many goldfish and all have died due to something stupid I had done or did not do. Somehow Barri has lived for a couple of years and the other two are working on a year each. Still… I go and do stupid things, like when will I ever learn. Not too long ago I purchased another goldfish and simply stuck him in the tank. All of the goldfish came down with ick, and had I not acted quick would have lost them all. I swore I will never introduce another fish into this tank. I felt so bad thinking I was going to lose the last three. I should have put the new fish into a separate tank until I was sure it was safe, but I didn’t.
However the three I have are doing well. The tank is well cycled and the maintenance is like every other week or so I change some water or maybe change a cartridge.
